Bee-Bot
The Bee-Bot is a simple-to-use programmable robot that is a great help in teaching the basics of programming for children over 3 years of age.
Bee-Bot is an ideal interactive tool for developing logical thinking, spatial imagination, planning and basic mathematical skills. With its help, children understand algorithms and can devise and try simple programs.
Ideal for children from 3 years
Bee-Bot is suitable for use in kindergartens and primary schools. It helps pupils to develop their spatial awareness by imagining the best way for the robot to reach the desired point. Later, the Bee-Bot can help them get to know different animals, the alphabet, learn the basics of addition and subtraction, or the geography and structure of the human body.
Bee-Bot is a useful tool for teaching STEM subjects (science, technology, technology and mathematics).
Rechargeable batteries
The Bee-Bot robot is powered by a built-in battery that can be easily recharged using the included USB cable. When fully charged, the Bee-Bot lasts up to 6 hours of normal use (approximately 2 hours in continuous use). If the battery is completely discharged, it may take up to 4 hours to fully charge.
The Bee-Bot is equipped with a power saving function that is activated whenever the robot is not used for more than 2 minutes. To turn it on again, just press any button. In sleep mode, the Bee-Bot consumes very little power, so a charged battery lasts longer.
If you have multiple robots, you can easily charge them at once with the docking station. It allows to charge up to 6 Bee-Bots at the same time and can also serve as their storage.
Interaction with another robots and other sensors
For feedback, the Bee-Bot is equipped with a loudspeaker and LEDs, that making it accessible to children with special hearing or sight needs.
In addition, the robot can recognize and say "Hello" to another Bee-Bot or Blue-Bot nearby. When greeting, it flashes and plays the default sound, or pupils can record their own sound.
The Bee-Bot can remember up to 200 steps
On the robot's back are command buttons (left, right, up, down), pause, button for delete program and OK button to confirm. Children must imagine the path they want their Bee-Bot to follow and then program it by pressing the right arrows. When they press OK, the program turns on and allows them to check for errors.
The Bee-Bot moves in 15 cm steps, can rotate 90 ° and remembers up to 200 steps, which, combined with a variety of mats and other accessories, provides a great deal of creativity when creating tasks.
Diverse accessories
With a wide range of accessories ranging from different types of mats to fun accessories for personalizing robots, the Bee-Bot is the ideal assistant for teaching programming for every class.
Use one of the themed mats to practice the alphabet, learning colors and shapes, navigating in space or simple calculations with your children, or use a transparent mat to customize it to your pupils' needs and level.
Bee-Bot application
The application uses the same buttons found on the body of the Bee-Boot and allows children to improve their programming skills in 12 difficulty levels. The faster they solve the task, the more stars they get for it.
